UNIKA is Hiring: Bookbinder

Are you detail-oriented, enjoy hands-on work, and take pride in seeing a product come to life from start to finish? At UNIKA, Romania's largest manufacturer of custom planners and promotional products, we are looking for a new Bookbinder to join our production team.

About the role:

As a Bookbinder, you will be involved in the manual finishing of our premium products, including planners, notebooks, presentation folders, and other high-quality printed materials. This position is ideal for someone who values precision, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform manual or semi-automated folding, gluing, stitching, and stapling operations.

• Assemble and finish products according to technical specifications.

• Carry out visual quality inspections before products are packed.

• Handle paper, covers, and specialty materials with care.

• Collaborate with the production team to meet quality standards and delivery deadlines.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in bookbinding or a similar production role is an advantage, but not essential—full training will be provided.

• Excellent manual dexterity and strong attention to detail.

• Patience, reliability, and an appreciation for quality craftsmanship.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Willingness to work in shifts when required.
